Current Conditions: Closed for the season.

Detailed Description:

From the Woods Walk it is 3 miles to the turn off for the Kebler Wagon Trail (#606) on Kebler. Take the 606 for two miles and you will see a cairn on your left. Turn here and in 50 feet you will be on Kebler Road. Take a left like your heading back to town and then a right at the Splains Gulch Road. Go up Splains for 1 ½ miles and on your right you’ll see a sign that says Lily Lake Tr. No. 639 and under that it says- Ohio Pass Road No. 730 3 ½ miles. This is where the trail starts and goes up. There are 20 or so tank traps to ride up and over but they are in great shape. Then you are up in the basin where the lake is and from there we have cairns built to direct you around the lake and back over to where the downhill begins. Once you are heading down there are no turns to be made. The trail ends up at the top of Ohio Pass so take a right and start heading down. Just before Ohio Pass joins Kebler Road there is a right that puts you back on the 606. Ride this short section back over to where it cross’s Kebler again and then you can ride the 606 all the way back to where you initially got on it. This is the direction we recommend taking for big views of the Elk Range but it can be ridden in a counter clockwise way as well with only a little more effort needed on the uphill.
